FAQ

How do I order a free admission ticket?

Later this year, a link will appear here to register for a free admission ticket.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email or QR code after signing up. What should I do?

You don’t need to do anything. All visitors will receive their ticket via email one week in advance and again one day before their visit to the fair. Even if that doesn’t happen, we can still enter your name manually to register you.

Can I bring my dog to the fair?
Only official service dogs are welcome at the fair.
Do you carry Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyards?

Hidden Disabilities
Some disabilities, conditions, or chronic illnesses aren’t always immediately visible to others. Attending a large event can therefore be quite challenging. We want everyone to feel comfortable at Jaarbeurs, which is why we’ve partnered with Hidden Disabilities.

Can I buy food and drinks at the trade show?

Both at the VeineDAGEN and the ZiezoBEURS, there are various food and beverage stands where you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a treat or a full lunch for a fee.

There is also a separate allergen information desk.

How do I drive to the Jaarbeurs?

Driving to Jaarbeurs

If you’re driving to Jaarbeurs, it’s a good idea to check in advance which parking lot is closest to the Jaarbeurs location you’ll be visiting. To do so, view the map.

Special parking spaces are available near the hall for people with a disability parking permit. We strive to offer these at a reduced rate.

This applies only to holders of a disability parking permit and only if you park in one of these designated spaces. If you park elsewhere, the regular parking rates will apply.

The exact location and directions will be announced no later than one month before the fair.

We recommend that you use the navigation address for the relevant parking lot listed below or, from the Utrecht Ring Road, follow the blue ANWB signs marked “Jaarbeurs.” You can use the directions for the following Jaarbeurs parking lots:
P4: Truus van Lierlaan, Utrecht (Google Maps) Max. height 180 cm

Click here for current parking information and rates

Vehicles taller than 2.70 meters

Any vehicle measured at over 2.70 meters may only park in P2. A flat rate of €86 per day applies.
P2: Truus van Lierlaan, Utrecht (Google Maps)

For buses parked in P2 that are no taller than 2.70 meters, the regular P4 rate applies—NOT the higher rate!

Pay for parking at Jaarbeurs using a QR code

Paying for a parking ticket is very easy with a QR code. All you have to do is scan the QR code on your parking ticket with your phone and then pay easily via iDEAL. That means you no longer have to go to the payment terminal, so you can pay quickly and securely using your phone!

Is there a zero-emission (environmental) zone in Utrecht?

A zero-emission zone has been in effect in Utrecht since January 1, 2025. A zero-emission zone is an area where only zero-emission commercial vehicles and trucks are permitted to drive, with the goal of reducing CO2 emissions. The environmental zone was also tightened on January 1, 2025, for diesel passenger cars. Jaarbeurs is located within both the zero-emission zone and the environmental zone.

Can I take public transportation to the trade show?

We recommend that everyone use public transportation as much as possible!

The exhibition and convention center is located near Utrecht Central Station. Trains, trams, and buses all stop here. Exit the station on the Jaarbeurs side. The lower-level plaza can be reached via an escalator and an elevator provided by the City of Utrecht. The distance from the station to the East Entrance is 450 meters. To get there, cross Jaarbeursplein and follow the signs toward Jaarbeurs and the exhibition and convention center.

Where should the taxis go?

A special parking area has been reserved for Valys taxis at the entrance to the Jaarbeurs, near Hall 3 at Fentener van Vlissingenkade 1. To book your Valys ride to the VeineDAGEN, please enter the address Fentener van Vlissingenkade 1 or VeineDAGEN Jaarbeurs 2027.

For all other “regular” taxis, there is a kiss-and-ride zone and taxi stand on Jaarbeursplein, located 250 meters from the East Entrance. To get there, navigate to Jaarbeursplein 24, Utrecht.

Can I park for less with a disabled parking permit?

Special parking spaces are available near the hall for people with a disability parking permit. We aim to offer these at a reduced rate.

This applies only to holders of the disabled parking permit and only if you park in these special parking spaces. If you park elsewhere, the regular parking rates apply.

If you do not have a disabled parking permit, you can use all other parking options (P2 and P4) at the regular rate. Only if your vehicle is taller than 2.70 m (truck) will the higher parking rate apply at P2.

Can holders of a disabled parking permit park nearby?

Yes, there are special parking spaces available near the hall for people with a disability parking permit.

If you have a disability parking permit, you may park regardless of the height of your car or van and regardless of the duration; the price will be announced later. This puts you very close to the VeineDAGEN and ZiezoBEURS. Online reservations are not available; we assume there will be more than enough space for everyone with a disabled parking permit.

Please note: This special rate applies only to holders of a disabled parking permit.

If you park elsewhere, the regular parking rates will apply.

Is there a place to stay overnight near the trade show?

Is there somewhere I can hang my coat or bag?

Jaarbeurs has secure coat check areas where you can store a coat or bag for €2.50 per item. In addition, lockers are available for rent at the Event & Exhibition Center for €5.00 per day. Each locker is about the size of a helmet. You can pay with your debit card or phone.
